Research Ethics

The project involves the
use of stories, contact,
and connection,
with human subjects,
ideas, memories,
and stories.

Some of the subject matter
is of a sensitive
nature, including
family and personal
histories, and
traumatic
experiences.

The material will be
dealt with sensitively
and respectfully.

A number of considerations
are being included, in
the production
planning, creative
material and approach.

These include the
storage, archive,
display, and publication
of personal material and
subject matter,
the use of consent
forms where needed
and approaches to
interviewing and
storytelling -
considerations of
truth, the nature of
reality,
experience,
and human contact.

One of the main
considerations
informing the production
and creative, is
whether the audio
will be scripted,
or edited, from interviews
and archive material
conversations and
personal histories.

This decision will be
made as part of
the research question,
resolution,
and defining the
production
process, and will be
resolved (in part)
by the end of year 2.

Ethics -
and considerations -

What is the main
thing I want to say?

A commitment to
truth, and story -
telling, represent
people, and their
realities.

Past - in all it's
forms.
